Looking out over the ochre tinted rooftops of Rome
It was a gorgeous morning when we got up early and left our hotel room to return to a viewpoint I noted a few days prior. We took the Metro to the Piazza Spagna (Spanish Steps) along with many people heading to work for the day and walked up the famous steps to reach the park just above. The Villa Borghese is the largest green space in Rome and is elevated enough for some stunning views across the city. So I set up my tripod and took a few shots, this was amongst the best because the morning sun picked out the ochre tones of the walls and rooftops of Rome. I was delighted the moment the first print spooled out onto the Canon Prograf's paper tray, it works brilliantly as a print and I have put it up on my own wall in my office to remind me of this wonderful moment.
